Abstract

This dataset consists of several types of observations of aerosol particle properties and reactive trace gas concentrations from 38 ACTRIS sites during the first COVID-19 lock-down period, January - April, 2020.

The data are archived in and accessible through the ACTRIS In-Situ Data Centre using the EBAS database repository operated at NILU - Norwegian Institute for Air Research (http://ebas.nilu.no).

Acknowledgements

The numerous technical and scientific staff members of the stations as well as many students involved in data production are acknowledged for all their efforts. Provision of data from this study have mainly been acquired in the framework of ACTRIS, under the ACTRIS-2 (Aerosols, Clouds, and Trace gases Research InfraStructure) project supported by European Union (grant agreement no. 654109). Some European sites and measurements were also supported by the Co-operative Programme for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Long-range Transmission of Air pollutants in Europe (EMEP) under UNECE.
